So Far...
‘Young’s Kitchen’ was once an affectionate term uttered by the friends and family of Young Dixon, who was famous for her culinary creations. From the appreciation and encouragement received, the beginnings of ‘Young’s Kitchen’ was born. These two simple words bring joy and comfort to thousands of students and staff at the University of Surrey. Young is currently the head chef of an Asian fusion restaurant, daily serving freshly cooked Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Thai food daily to satisfy the diverse palette of the community.
